Don performing at Church at Chapel hill on May 18, 2009Dodds started his first informal business at age 13. At 16, he entered Howard University as a pre-med student in a 6 year accelerated program. In his senior year Dodds began devoting his energies to the spirit of entrepreneurship.

For the last ten years, he has devoted much of his time to mentoring others. With expertise in Real Estate, Finance, Business Development and Internet Technologies, Dodds' "problem solver" (turn a problem into an opportunity) business philosophy has enabled him to help build 2 successful businesses by clearly defining and executing business objectives and operational functions.

On December 6th, 2008 at 3:00 am God gave Don a vision to create a music project as a tool to be used to save souls. Using music as the vehicle to deliver the message that Jesus is the way, the truth and the light Dodds maintains a clear message with every song. The first song from the album is a high energy, driving beat that invites the listener to be unashamed of Jesus and "praise his name". "Jesus Jump" is a celebration for everyone, young and old, to jump for Jesus.

Pastor Dave speaks with Don after performing at Church at Chapel HillThe project remains Biblically pure but it is culturally relevant utilizing stories about everyday people with everyday blessings and challenges who need an everyday, on time God.

Dodds is an avid reader, and enjoys time with his family, writing, weight training and racquetball. He is happily married to his wife, Patrice, and the proud father of 3 sons and a daughter, Donovan, Davis, Dean and Diane. The family worships at The Church at Chapel Hill in West Atlanta.
